So, I wrote this little ficlet a couple months ago for my enjoyment. If anyone has a problem with slash, as in John and Randy, then leave now. Not that it's all in your face, with this one, at least... Still, heed the warnings.
"Did you ever watch the Mickey Mouse Club?" John asked, turning his head on the pillow to face Randy.
"You mean that **** with Justin what's-his-face and Brittany Spears? Hell, no," Randy replied, still lying flat on his back, his face scrunched up at the thought. "Did you?"
"Not the Brittany one, no. But I do remember it was on after Zorro, the one with Annette Funicello."
"Now, Zorro, that was some good sh*t. It's a damn shame it's not on anymore."
Randy rolled onto his side and propped himself up on his elbow. "I always wanted to be like Zorro. And Davy Crockett."
"What kid didn't?" John wondered. "I remember the first time I watched Davy Crockett, that guy was awesome."
"Yeah, man. You ever see the River Pirates movie? He took on Mike Fink, and beat him at his own game. Now that is hard core," Randy said, reminiscing about his childhood.
"Disney used to have some good stuff." John sat up and grabbed the hotel remote to switch on the TV. He flipped through the channels, stopping when he found Disney. "Look at this sh*t. ‘That's So Raven' is on at 11 PM. That's when Zorro used to be on. Maybe I could start a petition to get the show back," he thought, turning the TV right off.
"You do that, John," Randy agreed, laughing.
"Hey, don't f*ck with Zorro. Guy could f*ck your sh*t up. Didn't you see that one where he carved the ‘Z' into that dude's pants? Not only did he have a sword, he had a horse."
"You ever see the new Zorro movies?" Randy wondered, eyebrow arched.
"And taint my memory of the original Zorro? Hell no!" John looked offended.
"You're just jealous they didn't want you for the part," Randy told him, looking thoroughly amused.
John gave him a shove on the shoulder, causing Randy to roll onto his back, grinning. "Hey, that's their loss. I may not be a suave, Latin hunk like Antonio Banderas, but -"
Randy cut him off, "You're better than him any day, babe." He rolled back onto his side and pulled John to his side. He let his palm rest on John's face, "You remember that, ok?"
"Yeah, I got it," John replied, rolling over so his back was to Randy's front. Randy wrapped his arms around John's waist and hooked a leg around one of John's. "No need to get all sappy on me. Especially when we're talking about manly stuff like Zorro and Davy Crockett."
John knew Randy was rolling his eyes, even though he couldn't see him, "Ok, John. Manly stuff, right." Randy could feel John's breathing slowing down, knew he was drifting to sleep. He placed a kiss on the top of John's head and whispered, "Night, John."
Scooting back a little bit more, John replied, "Night, Randy," before falling asleep.

Our Mr. David Blair has written an interesting article today titled "Iran's secret weapon isn't bombs but oil". I disagree with many of his statements, allusions, extensions and conclusions as follows:
This article isn't complete or accurate:
1) Iranian money has been flowing through Dubai for the last decade with a huge chunk drained out of Iran's economic system six years ago to/thorugh Dubai,
2) the embargo by the US and others tends to hurt from the bottom upward and it will be a long time before Iran's leadership will be seriously pained or at risk if ever with an already very low cost/standard of living at the bottom,
3) Iran's oil production still feels the effects of damaged infrastructure and wells which have poorly maintained at best,
4) Iranian oil and cash are still moved outside and inside the trading systems without too much problem or additional "facilitation cost",
5) the Revolutionary Guards have done well but are hardly living like idle rich as the businesses they ended up owning were depleted by capital outflows and the Iranian economy has not provided nor supported great commerce for much of the past decade, and
6) Iran already has most if not all of what it needs for its military and stability either inside (or outside) its own geographical borders and the support of several other nations (including Russia), a few of whom are part of the official embargo supporters but who are trading directly and indirectly with businesses in Iran and its government and military.
We may overstate and underestimate what Iran's "systemic power" really is and too easily forget that in this world regional boundaries and UN resolutions are not really the determining factors and methods of containment.
Well Summer is almost over and this is the last weekend of summer for the kids! I am getting excited our Rennaisance Faire is getting closer!! We have 17 days and couting till it is here!!! I look forward to it again this year! I hope we all have a great time again this year and I look forward to seeing old friends and familiar faces! So this Past June My fiancee planned a whole Vegas weekend for us @ the stratosphere and it was the most wonderful weekend ever, Well on our way back some Iresponsible young teenagers rear ended us they all had suspended license and insurance that was cancelled so now we have been going thru this whole ordeal or taking their parents to court. thast one This August a a 22yr old girl driving at a fast speed on a 45mph zone ran the red light end hit my fiancee's car well the good part about that was that he was ok not hurt but his car was totaled so now i have to pick him up from his house onm my way to work so he wont have to take the bus, cause he has always helped me in bad situations so now thats another problem for posponing our wedding another financial problem that comes between us and our wedding.

Omg sorry i hvnt came by, we have been so busy trying to get everything ready for a 3 year anniversary on Saturday!!!! we each have suprises for each other, so i really cant say mush about it lol.
